Anyway, that's my question:
How Many Books Have You Bought This Month?
I'm quite curious as to how many books people buy each time. Me? I bought only 2 books! Would love to buy more but if I had extra cash and less TBR books, I'd definitely love to go on a book shopping spree. :D
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI bought 1 book this month and it is about investing in stock market. :)
Nice to see your new update. :)
i din even buy any books this month. last month got.. 2 books to be exact. :D
ReplyDeleteI bought 10 books this month, all used, for a total of $10! I bought Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress, All the Pretty Horses, Mrs. Dalloway, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, Empire Falls, Jazz, Independent People, The Tenderness of Wolves, Bound, and The Book of Ruth. Today my town's annual library book sale starts, so no doubt I'll find a few treasures there.
ReplyDeletegreenleaf: Interesting choice of book. :)
ReplyDeleteerlynda: Good for you, save your cash! Haha!
charley: Wow, you got those books at a great price! This is why I love used books, they're cheap! I've always wanted to read Tenderness of Wolves too. Will put that on my TBR list. :D
erm this month i bought only four books.. where last month i bough 6 books hehe..
ReplyDeleteI go to the thrift stores, where the wealthy cast off their readings from last week and buy the latest from $1-$3! Yesterday, I came home with 30 books, mostly best sellers on NYTimes lists...but some on religious scholarship which I find very interesting and a couple (auto)biographies.....Long live the THRIFT STORES! They are heavenly for an old retired librarian like myself!
